One killed in alleged drunk driving accident in Houston

It is very important for motor vehicle drivers to not engage in drunk driving. Such reckless conduct by a driver can cause great harm to passengers and fellow motorists.

For example, such conduct can result in motor vehicle collisions occurring. Such accidents can result in the individuals in the vehicles involved suffering major injuries. Such accidents can sometimes even result in a fatality.

No individual should have to suffer harm or lose his or her life because someone got behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol.

Recently, a fatal motor vehicle accident occurred in Texas in which the driver of one of the vehicles involved has been accused of having driven while drunk.

The crash occurred in Houston last Friday. Reportedly, late that night, a northbound Toyota and a southbound Ford collided on Texas 6. According to authorities, the northbound Toyota had crossed onto the road’s southbound side.

According to the article on the Houston Chronicle’s website which reported this story, a passenger of the Toyota died as a result of this motor vehicle collision. The accident also reportedly resulted in the driver of the Ford suffering minor injuries. The above-mentioned Houston Chronicle article did not have any details regarding whether or not the driver of the Toyota suffered any injuries in the accident.

The driver of the Toyota has been accused of having been intoxicated at the time of this motor vehicle accident. It has been reported that this individual faces charges of intoxicated manslaughter in connection to the crash.
