All American drivers must be prepared to drive in all sorts of conditions. Some parts of America are prone to large amounts of snowfall while others accrue heavy rainfalls each year. Texas, on the other hand, may have its occasional hazardous weather, but for the most part, the state usually has dry and clear days. However, when it comes to car accidents, no matter what kind of weather condition, accidents can happen. On a recent clear and dry Texas day, a car accident involving four-vehicles occurred, and one person was killed while two others were injured.
A young man in a Ford sedan was driving south when a Dodge truck was forced into his lane. The truck had been attempting to make a left turn onto the road and was hit by a Ford pickup truck, which is why the truck had been forced off course. Another driver in a Ford car was hit by debris from the crash, thus he became involved in the car accident as well.
The young man in the sedan was killed at the scene. His passenger had to be taken to an area hospital, and he is now said to be in fair condition. The driver of the truck was also taken to a hospital and is said to be in fair condition, but the driver of the pickup truck had a broken ankle as well as other injuries.
Initially, it seemed to the police that the pickup truck was responsible for the car accident; however, the investigation is still underway. If the pickup truck is found to be responsible, he could very well have at least two Texas personal injury suits against him. The passenger in the sedan may want to sue for personal injury while the driver’s family may want to pursue a wrongful death claim.
