It is very important for motor vehicle drivers to not interfere with opposing lanes of traffic when out on the roads. Such conduct can result in auto collisions occurring.

Motor vehicle collisions can result in individuals suffering injuries. Such accidents can sometimes even have fatal results.

Earlier this week, an auto accident occurred in Texas in which two people died.

Reportedly, on Tuesday, an SUV was travelling along a road in Buda. The road in question was Farm Road 2770. According to authorities, the SUV then crossed onto the road’s opposing side. According to the KHOU article which reported this story, police do not yet know what specifically caused the SUV to do this.

The SUV then crashed into a shuttle that was in this opposing lane. The shuttle was transporting senior center residents. In total, the shuttle contained seven individuals.

Killed in the accident were the driver of the SUV and one of the people in the shuttle. The crash also caused the other six occupants of the shuttle to suffer injuries. The six injured occupants of the shuttle were transported to hospitals in the area after the accident.

As this accident illustrates, motor vehicle crashes involving interference with an opposing lane of traffic can be very harmful. Thus, it is very important for motor vehicle drivers to avoid engaging in conduct that could result in such accidents. Some examples of driving conduct that can cause such accidents include: speeding, impaired driving, drowsy driving, distracted driving and reckless driving.
