A 59-year-old Texas woman killed in car accident

by | May 29, 2014 | Car Accidents |

A Texas woman was involved in a car accident when a male driver crashed into her car head-on while driving in the wrong direction. The car accident happened at 1:06 p.m. in the afternoon and resulted in the woman dying after the collision. She was 59 years old.

The male driver was driving eastbound on Stacy Road and tried to pass cars on the right shoulder of the road. He was driving recklessly and may not have paid attention to the traffic conditions. When the man was unable to pass on the right shoulder, he switched to the left side of the road, which was westbound oncoming traffic. He did not see the oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into the car of the 59-year-old woman.

After the accident, a police officer and police chaplain informed the woman’s family of her unfortunate death. The male driver had suffered injuries, but he was able to receive medical attention and survive the accident, unlike the driver of the vehicle he crashed into. There will be criminal charges filed against the male driver for the death of the woman.

Car accidents in Texas that result in a death are tragic events. Texas courts can assist families who have been affected by a tragic car accident in order to obtain financial compensation to pay for medical expenses and damages to vehicles. Even though there is immense pain in losing a loved one, families can begin with the healing process after successful litigation. They can move forward with their lives and keep happy memories of when their loved ones were alive.
