It is very important for drivers to not engage in drunk driving or other reckless conduct when out on the roads. Such conduct shows a great disregard for the safety of others and can be extremely harmful. Drunk driving or other reckless conduct can sometimes lead to motor vehicle accidents.

Recently, a fatal auto collision occurred in Texas. Alcohol is thought to have been a factor in the crash.

The accident happened in Montgomery County last Saturday. That night, a 21-year-old individual was driving a car along FM 2978. According to authorities, this car then crossed the road’s center line, Reportedly, after it crossed onto the road’s opposing side, the 21-year-old individual’s car collided head-on into an SUV. The SUV contained two individuals: a 42-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. These two individuals were father and son.

According to the article on KHOU’s website which reported this story, police suspect that alcohol use on the part of the 21-year-old individual played a role in the accident.

The 42-year-old man died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The accident also resulted in the 21-year-old individual and the 15-year-old boy getting seriously hurt. The two were hospitalized after the accident. They were in critical condition at the time they were brought to the hospital.

As this tragic accident illustrates, auto crashes can sometimes have deadly results. Thus, one hopes that all motor vehicle drivers in Texas take all proper steps to prevent car accidents when behind the wheel.
